Meet Our Team 

Ice Hockey

David LoPresti 

 

Founder and Head Advisor

 

David LoPresti has been guiding athletes and their families for over a decade, assisting players of various skill levels in advancing to higher levels of competition.

With a strong ice hockey background, played prep school hockey at Northfield Mount Hermon School (NEPSAC) and continued his collegiate career at Boston University (Hockey East), where his teams secured 2 Beanpot Championships, a Hockey East regular season title, participated the NCAA tournament, and achieved a #1 national ranking.

 

Following graduation, he pursued a professional hockey career in both Europe and the United States, including with the ECHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes. Transitioning to coaching, David has since led youth teams, high schools, and junior programs, evaluated USA Hockey at regional camps, and represented the U.S. in several international tournaments.

 

For three years, he served as a faculty member hockey coach at New Hampton School (NEPSAC) in New Hampshire, leading teams to the New England Prep Small School championship game and helping countless athletes transition to junior hockey or college.

 

Currently, David divides his time between offices in Rhode Island and Florida.

Zach Klempel

Recruiter, Coach , Advisor. 

A native of Texas, Zach Klempel brings a passionate, disciplined approach to player development, shaped by years of competitive hockey and distinguished military service. His coaching philosophy emphasizes maximizing each player’s potential through teaching, motivation, and inspiration. He believes that hard work, accountability and confidence is the foundation of every player’s success.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Zach served for ten years, completing three deployments and earning multiple awards and decorations before being medically separated. His military background deeply influences his coaching style, instilling values of discipline, leadership, and a relentless work ethic.

After ten years of travel hockey in Texas, Zach advanced to junior hockey, competing with the Tri-City Titans (NorPac), Dallas Titans, and Dallas Hawks (WSHL). His coaching career started as an assistant at Allen High School and expanded into youth hockey with the Arkansas Hockey Association, where he also served two years on the Little Rock Aces Board of Directors.

In recent years, he has coached at increasingly competitive levels, including roles with the Texas Junior Brahmas, NA3HL Brahmas, and Texas Tigers. As head coach and recruiter for MCN Sports Management, he has led international AAA teams to strong finishes, earning medals at the Bauer World Cup, Finland Lions Cup, and the Nord Cup. Off the ice, Zach enjoys spending time with his three children—Tyler, Lane, and Mattie. He is recognized as a passionate leader and mentor.

Josh Mander

Coach, recruiter, tour leader

Coach Josh Mander has been coaching in Atlantic City, NJ for over a  decade, including coaching the AC Sharks to a U18 State Championship. A native of New Jersey coach Josh played junior hockey in the NA3HL for the Jersey Shore Wildcats. 

In 2017 he received his Level V USA hockey coaches certification. He is also a Level IV USA Hockey certified referee

Josh joined the MCN staff in the Summer of 2022 and is a vital part of our groups success. His current roles include recruiting, coaching, team leader and group tour guide.

Tucker Arnold

 

Coach, Recruiter

Born and  raised in New Hampshire, Tucker Arnold has been involved in hockey for over 20 years. He played his Junior hockey for the New Hampshire Monarchs in the USPHL and the Valley Jr Warriors in the EHL. 

In 2018 coach Tucker joined MCN for the first time as a player in the Finland Lions Cup. He would join the coaching staff three years later and has been a big art of the organization ever since. 

Since 2021 Tucker has coached with MCN in Italy France, Finland and Sweden. 

Matt Nee

Matt Nee

 

European Scout 

Originally from South Boston, MA, Matt has been living in Munich, Germany for the past 21 years. He currently coaches for  EHC Munich and is involved in all levels of the organization.

 

Matt played varsity hockey at Boston College High School before taking a Post Graduate year at the Berkshire School (NEPSAC). After graduation Matt went on to play college hockey at the University of Connecticut.

 

Matt's pro career began playing for the Peissenberg Hornets in the German Reginal Liga. He averaged a point a game before knee injury would end his playing career. 

 

 In 2008 Matt helped open the first and only synthetic ice training facility in Munich, Xtreme Hockey Academy. At XHA Matt worked with a number of national and professional level players on developing their skills and was one of the head instrcutors. He joined EHC Munich in 2010.

Matt has great knowledge of European hockey and experience in helping players move on to the US or Canada.

Alison LoPresti

Administrator & CFO

Alison oversees the logistics, financial operations, and behind-the-scenes coordination at MCN.


Beyond her role with the organization, she is a dedicated wife and mother, actively involved in animal rescue initiatives. Alison is passionate about sports, enjoys cooking, and appreciates a well-crafted bottle of wine.
